Treasurer: Kim Hannah Welsh

Hi, my name is Kim Welsh. My husband, Joe and I got our first Harley in June of 2008. I believe the conversion went something like ...  I am buying a motorcycle and my response was over my dead body. Famous last words !   What a ride it has been and  I am sure glad he got that motorcycle!  

Joe and I have 4 kids, 1 grandson, 2 dogs, and 2 bikes a 2008 Road King and a 2009 Ultra.  Our children smile and laugh at me aka " Biker Mom".  Guess being an accountant for 20 years has tarnished their image of me.

Being new to motorcycling, we didn't know the joys of riding the back roads. I enjoy sitting on the back, taking pictures, and seeing things smelling things I would have never noticed in a car. What a sense of freedom, is there any better way of blowing the stress of one’s day out of your brain?   I am very impressed with our HOG chapter. The organization of the MDA fundraising and the poker/dinner rides. Everyone has gone out of their way to make us feel welcome. I am very excited to be treasurer.
